Business Cards

I'm trying to design my business cards. I have two designs I like, take a look and let me know what you think.

I'm also curious if you think I need to include a phone number on my card? Is it unprofessional without a phone number?

Card No. 1, my suggestion is you should put "artisan" on same line with your name.........I have my phone number on my card, but it's just a matter of preference.....

I like the top one. I think margretdzn's suggestion of putting "artisan" on the name line is a good one.
About the phone number..... in this day and age when internet and email are so much of our lives, I choose not to give my phone number out, but then I have issues about that. :-) I feel like if I give someone a card that I want to also give them my #, I can write it on the back. Something has to be private!!

love the colors and your logo. i like the top one best too, that long tendril dividing the card takes my eye right where it needs to go. good luck!!!

Top one definitely. and a phone number is always a good thing. And Margaret is right about the word artisan. better on the same line as your name, but your name should be a bigger font than the word artisan.

I too like the top card the best. You should definitely put the word artisan on the same line as your name, separated by a comma and make the font slightly smaller. The sworl brings your eye to your name which is a good thing. The phone number is of personal preference. Do you want people to call you or to look at your etsy site and email you? I know some people are computer phobic. For them, you can put your phone number on the back of the card. I'm new to etsy (mybrownwren.etsy.com) and just put together my business card - without the phone number. I like my privacy and some control of when I talk to people and when I work.

hi paige- i am loving your blog!!!1 okay, i prefer the top one as well. i think the emails under your name should be a little smaller than your name and title. (or just make your name slightly larger) i want your name to stand out more than the webpage address. i love the colors and logo all very beautiful!
