Best of my Friends and Family - Wednesday

I took these pictures while in graduate school. These first two pictures are from the show Twelfth Night. It was fantastic. The people are my friends/ family/ fellow classmates Tim, Gena, and Naila.

These next 2 photos are from the show that was in rep with Twelfth Night, The Rover. The stage and lighting design for this show was really beautiful. The people in these photos are Kat, Paul, Nico, Mike, Victor, Pamela, Carolina. and Gena.

I love these pictures. Doesn't everyone look great? Enjoy.

Business Cards

I'm trying to design my business cards. I have two designs I like, take a look and let me know what you think.

I'm also curious if you think I need to include a phone number on my card? Is it unprofessional without a phone number?

YA....First Etsy Sale....YA

And I also want to announce that I made my first etsy sale YA YA YA did I mention YA. A very nice lady from North Carolina ordered my Rustic Leaf Earrings. I'm so excited to have made my first sale.

This person has no idea, but she will have a very special place in my memories. I know that sounds corny but it's true. You should have read the first 12 drafts of that sentence sappy, sentimental and corny, all true but my stoic MN roots required that I simplify to just corny.

I made the ultra suede pouch and I really love the way it turned out, so I'm definitely keeping the pouch. I made the thank you card and like it also, so that's a keeper, but it seems a little bare. I know I need to add a business card but does anyone have any fun suggestions on a little something to add zing, without breaking my piggy bank. All input appreciated.

Grab Bag Post

Sorry my Monday post is coming on Wednesday. I was visiting Christine of Chocolate and Steel on Monday. She did her first wholesale/ gift show. Her booth was lovely and she seemed really happy with the results.

Here's some of her great work so you can see why she did so well. I'm sure she will talk about The California Gift Show and Renegade on her blog soon.

Then I spent all day Tuesday helping a friend, and amazing artist, dona di Carlo organize her studio so she can host a PMCC certification class with the amazing Lora from Such and Such.

Some of dona's amazing jewelry.
And I still have to make a million pieces for my first craft show in September. I'm a little crazed. So nothing really goes together today it's a "grab bag" snap shot of my busy week.

Giveaway winners, yes that winners plural. Since Christine and Tamara were the only two interested in the animated gif I decided to make them both winners.
Here's one in action,

So ladies, pick a style that you like and send me an email to hsb@paigelitfin.com, we'll hammer out the details size chances, color changes, add logo, what do you want it to say and things like that. And thank you for entering.

Best of Friends and Family Wednesday

A few years ago Mike and I went trail riding in the Cloud Peak region of Wyoming with my aunt, uncle, cousin, his daughter, and my parents. Usually I think I take better candid portraits. But it was so beautiful every where you looked, it was hard "not" to take a great picture. Here are a few of the pictures that I love from that trip.
