I'm back.

I was off the internet all last week while I was in MN. Except for a couple trips to a free wifi zone. Sunday, I called home to say I was coming home and I was going to get online and stay online until my head and eyes popped. Then I was informed that our home internet was down. I almost cried. But thanks to a 10 minute visit from Time Warner, I'm back online, and I didn't die of withdrawal. But it was a close thing.

Now onto important business...

I need a banner for my show. This is the design I have come up with it's 4' x 2.5'. What do you think?

Or this?
Does the picture extended all the way under the flourishing on the left hand side look muddy? Or does the picture cropped look strange? And if both are true, which bothers you less?

Weekend Eye Candy - Minnesota Edition

I'm visiting family this week in Minnesota, my state of origin. Minnesota is so beautiful I want to share it with you for this weekend's eye candy. I hope you enjoy my great birth state.

You can find the amazing photographers who took these shots on flickr:
1. Scott County, Minnesota, 2. Float Plane ride, 3. Split Rock Dawn at -55 degrees, 4. Cascade Falls - Lake Superior, 5. Northern Glow, 6. Duluth Minnesota, 7. Stone Arch Bridge Minneapolis Minnesota, 8. Minnesota Farmland Near Harmony, 9. Minneapolis Winter Cherry , Spoonbridge, Minnesota

You might ask, "If it's so beautiful why don't you live there?" And my answer would be "because I'm a total wimp and for 6 months a year it could be 40 degrees below zero on any given day. And did I mention what a wimp I am?".

Weekend Eye Candy - The Enchanted Dolls by Marina Bychkova

Okay, I know I've been very MIA from my blog all week. I've been very busy trying to get ready for my first ever craft show. But, I'm about to make my bloggy absence up to you, and in a big way. While surfing flickr, at midnight, coming down from work, work, and more work, I found Marina Bychkova. Actually I found her photographer, Chad Isley, at least I think he's her photographer. But whoever he is, he brought me to Marina and I'll be forever grateful. And now I bring her to you. I hope you enjoy her work with the same jaw dropping delight that I did.

I could keep adding photos all night but I will stop here. I am not affiliated with this artist in anyway, I just really, really, really want one of her dolls.
